Does the cold snowy weather have you down? Get out and spend some quality time with your family this Family Day Long Weekend! Here’s a few of the fantastic events happening this weekend!
Go Skiing! Night Skiing!
The fun doesn’t need to end just because the sun has gone down! (And good thing, too, during the long winter nights.)
Castle Mountain Resort is embracing the Family Day holiday with night skiing from February 15 to 17, 2019. Is there a better way to spend the Family Day long weekend? Spend time with family and friends skiing under the lights! All runs accessible by the Green Chair will be open during the evening, including jumps & rails for those a little more adventurous. Enjoy some winter camping at Crimson Lake Winterfest
A fun-filled Family Day weekend tradition at Crimson Lake Winterfest!
Local Rocky Mountain House organizations team up with Alberta Parks to celebrate and support our community every year! Come build lasting memories with your families and friends in a fun and beautiful setting at this free festival.
This year's event is set to be one of our best yet! Our team is hard at work finalizing the activity schedule, but one thing is for sure – you can expect a whole day filled with outdoor fun and entertainment. Snowshoe and ice fishing demonstrations, a local vendor market at Pioneer Camp Ranch, and Freezin’ for a Reason are just a few of the activities you can expect at the 2019 Crimson Lake Winterfest.
There will be parking on site and nearby, plus first served winter camping sites if you’d like to bring out your trailer and spend the night at a reduced rate of $20. Check out our camping page for more information.
