Camper's Update April 8th 2021

Posted on Apr 8, 2021

On April 7th the Ontario government announced that we are once again in a province wide state of emergency, which includes a 4 week lockdown. According to the current government restrictions we can open for campers with seasonal contracts. This was confirmed by an email opinion from the Ontario Private Campground Association. According to the current government restrictions we can also continue to operate our RV dealership. This was confirmed by an email opinion from the Ontario RV Dealers Association.

These restrictions are subject to change with little or no notice. We are not only governed by the Provincial government but also under restrictions / guidance of Peel Health, OPP & Town of Caledon. We are continuing to operate & prepare for opening the campground on time with safety restrictions in place. More updates will follow.

Please remember, although we are permitted to operate the campground & the RV dealership, the province is in a state of emergency & the province is requesting people to stay at home as much as possible. Many campgrounds are currently not allowing anyone onto their properties. We have decided not to do this but we ask that if you do enter the property to check on your trailer you limit your stay to 1 hour & practice social distancing. Current provincial restrictions say that you cannot have more than 5 people in an outdoor gathering.

When we do open the campground there will be safety restrictions in place that must be followed or the campground will be closed. Our security gate system is part of our required contact tracing, please follow our restrictions. All gate passes were deactivated at the end of last season. They will be re-activated when your season begins, April 30th for people who have paid for extended seasonal & May 7th for regular seasonal campers. Please email ruby@leisuretime.ca all of your gate pass numbers. All necessary paperwork & payment must be completed before gate passes will be reactivated. Fillable forms are attached if you haven’t filled it out or use CampOn app. No printing required.

Thank you for your patience & understanding.

Stay Safe!
