It's Official!
Our Second Service Location is Open
As most folks know the RV business across the continent has been going gang busters for the past few years. So many have taken to hitting the road in an RV. We all have been at that reservation website trying to book a campsite 11 months out. Presently getting a great site in the summer in Ontario, or Florida in the winter, feels like you have won the lottery!

We love seeing so many families discovering the RV lifestyle and at Can-Am RV Centre it is our greatest priority to make sure we can match your budget and travel plans with the right travel trailer or motorhome. And in our more than 50 years of doing just that, we have never been busier than we have since 2020. Sales were already increasing steadily, and then when people wanted a safe way to vacation and travel during the pandemic, demand for RVs went through the roof. With so many new converts to the RV lifestyle there is no end in sight. Fortunately we are getting more and more RVs on our sales lot after so many months or virtually no supply from manufacturers.

One of the things Can-Am has had to deal with during this surge of interest is the growing pain of having so many new customers that need service. Be it routine maintenance, warranty work or just the simple fact that all new units need pre-delivery inspections and towing set ups, there have not been enough hours in the day or the space needed to do the service work required.

Now Andy has not yet figured out how to add more than 24 hours to the day, (although we know he tries) he has found a solution to the issues we have with not enough space to get the service work completed.
To that end we have purchased a second service centre just up the road from our main location. This meant that we did not have to go down the long and arduous path of building an additional facility from scratch.

Here's what Andy Thomson has to say, " For many years our paint and fibreglass work has been done by a company 5 kilometers south of us called Country Collision. They had one of the few spray booths large enough to accommodate an RV. Their business was mostly truck repairs. A big part of that has been “frame up” restoration of antique trucks, which they did beautifully. Their building has 5 large bays. Al the owner, decided to retire, so we made an agreement to purchase the building and assume the 3 technicians. We are now doing our own RV body work and the shop will focus on RV service. We became the new owners late this winter. It took more that a month to update the shop and transition the facility. This week our Can-Am RV Centre signage is finally being installed. I think it will still take time to have everyone fully up to speed, but we feel by Fall of 2023 we should be able to hit the customer service levels we aspire to."
The history and success of Can-Am RV Centre is built on our belief that our customers come first. Having this additional facility to meet the service needs of our Can-Am RV Centre family of owners is another piece falling into place to keep that goal our reality. We hope you will have a chance to see the new service centre this season.
Thank you again for being a Can-Am Customer and for your support and patience during our "growing pains"
