UMBILICAL CORD
	The wiring harness that connects the tow vehicle to the trailer, supplying electricity to the trailer's clearence and brake lights, electric brakes and a 12 volt DC power line charge the trailer's batteries. An umbilical cord can also be the power cable that is used to connect to campground 120 volt AC electrical hookups.
UNDERBELLY
	The RV's underfloor surface, which is protected by a waterprofed material. French: Bas-ventre
UNY-BODY
	A vehicle that has frame and body integral. Usually has a sub-frame for the front end which mounts the engine and suspension.
UNLOADED VEHICLE WEIGHT (UVW) OR DRY WEIGHT
	Weight of the vehicle without Manufacturers or dealer-installed options and before adding fuel, water or supplies.
UTQGL
	USA - UTQGL stands for Uniform Tire Quality Grade Labeling, a system that classifies tires as to treadwear, traction and heat resistance. Each tire manufacturer performs its own tests in these categories, in accordance with government prescribed test procedures. Based on these tests, each manufacturer then assigns grades, which are branded on the tire sidewall.
